  • Feedback:
  1. Fei: Glad you included the competitive analysis — I recall the “sharing booking plans with friends” part missing a bit more in earlier testing so I’m really glad you integrated that in more clearly (pivoting at some point after user testing). Nice job highlighting user research as well. UI: icon size between add and translate. Polling feature between friends is a nice feature. Glad you reduced down the bottom bar menu. Like Mala said, the walkthrough of the app was very quick and you didn’t get too far into the details — using the user personas to walk through the app would have been helpful.
  2. Interesting approach to making this process more simple. Well done competition analysis. For the persona that’s a very specific pleasure point. I also think another kind of persona would be someone who’s planning a sort of business trip. Interesting to merge these. The application looks so well thought out and I really like how multi purpose the application is. I know a few people who’ve made companies out of basically arranging itineraries between professionals, including booking hotels, events, etc. If this app can help organize stuff like that it’ll be absolutely insane. Awesome idea for the budget filter. Would it be possible to also use this for things like business trips and conferences.-Shantanu
  3. I really like the idea of streamlining all aspects of traveling with one app. This can help people who are very into planning out everything for a trip to lay out everything that goes into the travel.
  4. Justina — I really like the aspect of adding in a translator because it is another cool feature to have. I also liked the budget filter, I think that helps with organizing what each person is looking for. I think there is still a lot of stuff that you can do with the app, which might make it confusing to figure out what a person should do first.
  5. Dae: Looking at the analysis was great and helped me understand the whole design process. I think this project really has a strong image of the potential user group. I feel like it would be really helpful if there was a way for the users to understand the itinerary at the first sight rather than having to read through it. Maybe through diagrams instead of texts?
  6. Patricia: The travel market is definitely not easy to tackle, however you were able to actually provide a more personal experience, that is almost like a mix between social media platforms and travel companies. I love the planet icon and the budget function. Overall, the presentation as well as the reflection portion was easy to follow and the progress as well as the impact was constantly visible
  7. I really like the progress that has been made on this application. I think your analysis did a great job of helping explain your design process a little more, and informed me on how you made design decisions. I think this is definitely easier to use, and the interactions and integrations of sharing your trip with friends is more intentional. Overall really enjoyed your presentation + progress made.
  8. Joe: The visual design and flow is very on point for a travel planning app. I wonder what the user flow would be like in using some features, like the chat: who gets added to the chat list, who can add you to the list, what actions can they perform? Looks very polished and with further iteration and testing the user flow can be even better.
  9. Asuka: I think there are some interface spaces that are not fully utilized. For example, there is a page with three icons arranged vertically. Maybe consider filling these spaces with pictures. And I love the color combination, which matches your theme well.
